
American Sentinel University offers more than 20 online degree programs in technology, business, healthcare, and criminal justice. They also offer industry certification programs. The school’s American College of Computer & Information Science was licensed in 1998 and in 2000, the American Graduate School of Management was licensed. Enrollment is open several times a month and students can complete their courses in either 8 or 12-week terms. American Sentinel University is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council, a national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Founded as Vanderbilt University’s Technology Company by academic and business leaders such as Joe B. Wyatt, Chancellor of Vanderbilt University and CEO of American Sentinel University, Dr. Richard W. Oliver, an award-winning professor at Vanderbilt University. As an online university, students can access their grades and course, communicate with faculty and fellow students, and work with course-specific services as they work toward their degree…all through the online campus. The University holds a commencement ceremony once a year.
American Sentinel University offers a variety of student services such as a mentoring program, online library, career center, and even a monthly newsletter.
